Cabling Expertise

Oncore’s interest in cabling grew out of its success in the mobile power supply market. The company began as Oncore Power Systems, mainly focusing on aftermarket replacements for portable power sources for notebooks. Today, Oncore maintains its interest in that market, believing that other mobile devices such as netbooks, tablets, and PDAs are proliferating enough to warrant a need for its power solutions, especially as those devices become more powerful and demand more from their batteries.

The company’s entrance into the cabling industry began in 2007 with Oncore Power Systems’ partnership with cable industry veteran Brian Richardson, who now serves as Oncore Cables’ executive vice president. Today, Oncore Cables offers a wide range of cable solutions in addition to its ClearFit cable line, including stock and custom fiber cables, Cat3, Cat5e, Cat6, telcos, power cords, audio/video cables, custom coax assemblies and a variety of adapters and miscellaneous cables. Many product options are customizable in terms of length, color, and other customer needs.
